Port Logistics Facility Development – Shahama, Abu Dhabi
This logistics support initiative involved the design and development of a series of strategically located buildings within a key maritime zone in Abu Dhabi. The project aimed to enhance the operational efficiency of port-related activities by introducing new facilities that support warehousing, workshops, and administrative functions—all tailored to meet port authority regulations and future scalability needs.
Scope of Work
F2i was appointed to deliver complete architectural and structural engineering services along with BIM support. The scope included:
- Detailed design of five port-related buildings
- Spatial planning and structural engineering for warehouses, workshops, and offices
- BIM modeling at LOD 300 to support coordination and documentation
- Design optimization to align with logistics flow and regulatory compliance
