Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revit MEP professional with 8+ years of hands on experience in developing detailed MEP models for large-scale building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of BIM workflows, multidisciplinary
coordination, and industry standards to deliver high-quality and coordinated Revit MEP models up to LOD 400/500.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed Revit MEP models (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection) in accordance with project standards and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Coordinate effectively with architectural and structural teams to resolve clashes and design conflicts using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Produce detailed construction and installation drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs directly from Revit models.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to clash detection and model validation processes.
• Ensure that all MEP elements comply with client, company, and international BIM standards (ISO 19650, ASHRAE, CIBSE, NFPA, etc.).
• Support project leads in setting up project templates, shared parameters, and family libraries.
• Perform QA/QC checks on Revit models to maintain model accuracy and data integrity.
• Collaborate with design engineers to integrate design intent into the model efficiently.
• Assist in the development of Revit content (families, annotations, and symbols) specific to MEP disciplines.
• Maintain model version control, model linking, and cloud collaboration (BIM 360, ACC, or similar platforms).

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems design and coordination (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical).
• Familiarity with BIM standards and execution workflows ISO 19650
• Knowledge of COBie data requirements and asset information modeling.
• Ability to interpret and convert 2D drawings, schematics, and markups into 3D coordinated Revit models.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP BIM modeling using Revit.
• Experience in design, coordination, and documentation for commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to Middle East is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Certification in Autodesk Revit or BIM Management, ISO 19650.
• Experience with Dynamo for Revit or Revit API automation.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 Docs / ACC.
