Coastal Infrastructure Development – Waterfront District, Abu Dhabi
This waterfront infrastructure project forms part of a high-end coastal district in Abu Dhabi, designed to support residential, leisure, and tourism developments. The area features extensive landscaping, waterfront promenades, parks, and marine infrastructure. F2i was appointed to digitally model and coordinate complex infrastructure systems across the district to support sustainable and visually integrated urban development.
Scope of Work
F2i provided BIM and engineering support for large-scale site infrastructure, including:
- Infrastructure modeling for utilities, roads, and public realm elements
- BIM development at LOD 400 and 500 for construction-ready delivery
- Coordination of underground networks, landscape zones, and structural features
- Seamless integration with architectural and marine works across the waterfront
Results Delivered
F2i delivered high-precision BIM models that enabled seamless infrastructure coordination across roads, utilities, and landscaped zones. Our work supported accurate construction documentation, reduced design conflicts, and helped realize a premium coastal environment in line with Abu Dhabi’s development standards for luxury waterfront communities.
