Desalination Plant Design & Engineering – Tunisia, North Africa
This critical water infrastructure project was initiated to address ongoing water scarcity challenges in the Sfax region of Tunisia. The facility is designed to provide a sustainable and long-term potable water solution for residential and industrial demand in North Africa’s arid climate.
Scope of Work
F2i provided detailed design and BIM engineering support for the desalination plant, covering:
- BIM modeling at LOD 350 and 400 for all architectural, structural, and process elements
- MEP coordination across desalination units and service buildings
- Integration of design standards and codes in compliance with local regulatory frameworks
- Support for construction sequencing and documentation
