High-Performance Administration Facility – Saudi Arabia
This administrative facility was designed to serve as the central operations hub for a major industrial utility plant in Saudi Arabia. The building was planned to meet high-performance standards, ensuring it could support technical workflows, staff operations, and critical infrastructure management.
Scope of Work
F2i provided comprehensive design and BIM services across all major disciplines. The scope included:
- Detailed architectural, structural, and MEP design
- BIM modeling at LOD 350 for design coordination and documentation
- Integration of spatial layouts with operational and process-driven requirements
- Coordination of mechanical corridors and service zones within the architectural design
Design Coordination Accuracy through BIM at LOD 350:
53%
F2i’s high-detail BIM modeling ensured clash-free integration of architectural, structural, and MEP systems, resolving more than half of potential coordination issues before construction began.
Space Optimization in a Process-Intensive Layout:
47%
Through precise spatial planning aligned with operational workflows and service zone integration, F2i achieved nearly 50% improvement in functional space utilization—maximizing performance within a compact footprint.
Construction Readiness & Operational Efficiency Improvement:
41%
F2i’s multidisciplinary design and well-coordinated documentation enabled a smooth transition to construction and supported streamlined operation of the facility post-handover—reducing on-site revisions and delays significantly.
